Trevor Main has over 30 years' experience in the construction industry in Australia. Prior to commencing in private practice he worked extensively on many large projects, most notably the Collins Place development and major banking developments. These project costs exceeded $200m in the 1970's.

Since establishing Trevor Main (TM), Trevor has paid particular attention to Total Project Cost Management as an essential part of the development process. Other specific areas of interest include Value Management and Project Procurement.

As a past National President of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Trevor was instrumental in expanding professional standards throughout the Asia Pacific region through the development of the Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS) together with its association with the U.S. based International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC). He is the current Vice President of the Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors, an international group that represents Quantity Surveyors throughout Asia and the Pacific, Canada and South Africa.

In addition, Trevor's industry wide experience and responsibility also extends to judging the Property Council of Australia Awards for Economic Design Excellence (1992 to 1993) and the Master Builders' Association of Victoria Awards for Building Excellence (1994 to 1998) and as a Scrutineer for the Guinness Book of Records.

Fraser Main, holding two bachelors degrees, one in Commerce and the other in Construction Economics, has over 15 years' experience in the construction industry in Australia. He is an associate of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, the Australian Institute of Project Management and is also a registered Building Practitioner.

His early years were spent working on many large projects including Southgate, the Museum of Victoria in Carlton and the Melbourne Airport International Terminal Redevelopment. Throughout 1996 he spent time on-site where he was responsible for the contract administration of the $35m redevelopment of the Brimbank Central Shopping Centre.

Since commencing with TM, Fraser has specialised in the preparation of Feasibility Studies and Cash Flows, Project Management, providing advice and acting as the representative for Banks, Financiers and Private Equity investors when investing / lending in property development.
